This 8 unit ground-up mixed use development will be the first certified multifamily passive house project in the State of Rhode Island. Featuring 7 residential units and a ground floor bar and restaurant called 'Lucky Enough', the project fits seamlessly into the historic context of the Westminster Street commercial corridor in the city's west side. With 12" thick walls, triple glazed windows, ERVs in every unit, and hybrid hot water heaters, the energy costs in these apartment units are as low as possible. With elegant finishes including oversized barn doors in every bedroom, the homes are the perfect city living refuge. Working closely with the bar owners from the project's inception, we were able to deliver a turnkey restaurant that opened simultaneously with the residential occupancy providing an amenity to both the neighborhood as well as the project residents.
